Amazon Customer 5 I got a tenor recorder because I got rather tired of the shrill sound of my soprano. I don't regret my choice because the sound of this tenor Yamaha is very beautiful. I do need to mention that this instrument requires more dedicated practice and patience than the soprano does. It takes time to get used to the stretched fingers and the hands can easily get tired at the beginning. The 4-5 lower notes are also challenging and need a lot of getting to know your instrument and practice. But all this is totally worth it I think!
