Amazon カスタマー 1 I heard so many good things about 7artisans lenses. I avoided buying cheaper chinese lenses in the past because I thought they would have issues but I decided to buy the 55mm 1.4 due to its low price. This was definitely a mistake.I purchased the X-Mount version of the lens and when I went to mount it on my X-Pro 2, it almost felt as if they had shipped the wrong mount. I checked the box however and looked at the mount and it was indeed for the X-Mount, so I applied more pressure and the lens was able to fit onto the lens after twisting it incredibly hard. The lens fits the mount but just barely and requires around 10x more force than it should and I do not want to use it because it seems like it will damage the lens mount due to the pressure it applies to it. Unlike every other lens I have ever used on a modern lens system, when the lens was twisted onto the body, it did not make a "click" sound as it locked into place, in fact it did not lock into place at all which tells me that aspect of the lens was also shipped in a damaged state.I reached out to 7artisans and I got a few unintelligible and rude emails back from them. Finally after asking if I could get a replacement, they admitted that a batch of their X-Series lenses had shipped damaged but they can't replace them, only amazon can replace them but by the point 7artisans had told me this, it had already been 30 days so Amazon can no longer replace my order.I will never buy a 7artisans lens again after my experience with them and I strongly suggest that you don't buy one either, I'm out 200 dollars and I have a unusable lens that would very likely damage my camera if I use it.
