From the picture that Amazon provided, it looks cheap, like those cords that you can get in 100 Yen shops, It's not. The build quality feels durable, both the body of each end are covered in aluminum metal, the cord is thick, maybe twice as thick as regular cords and it's bendable, so you can position it to any way you want it. The cord itself is braided in dark gray and black color. Having this connected to my charging cable still allowed me to charge and transfer data RAPIDLY. Tried it on my iPad Pro 11 inch and Google Pixel 2XL. Money definitely not wasted!
